I am a 35-year old Personal Trainer who has spent the last year studying IT. My aim is to transition to an IT or Cyber Security apprenticeship.
Professional and hard-working: I have been employed for my entire adult life, across customer service and fitness roles.
Self-motivated and driven: I currently work in a self-employed capacity, and have developed my own social media and website content for years.
Studious and analytical: I am capable of engaging in study and earning good grades. I like to understand how things work, and enjoy problem-solving to reach a solution.
I have no current professional experience in IT-related fields. However, I have always worked. I possess many professional skills such as communication, punctuality, and the ability to perform a thorough needs analysis to best help a customer or client.
For the last year I have studied CompTIA modules in IT fundamentals, hardware, software, and networking. I do not currently have any qualifications that would preclude me from starting an apprenticeship in the UK.
I have 10 GCSE's A*-C including English, Maths, and Double Science. I also have a 1st Honours Degree in Strength and Conditioning Science. I have 3 A levels in Psychology, Film Studies and English Language.
