HGV Class 2 Driver
Send a job offer directly to this candidate
I am currently working as a HGV class 2 driver delivering pallets to various locations, I have been doing this for about a year. I was a police officer for the Metropolitan Police Service, and did this for over 17 years, I retired on the 15th January 2019, my daily duties include Law and Order, and also safety of members of the public, and many more duties that a police officer carries out on a daily basis. I am fully aware that the MPS is not your standard working "9-5" working environment and this is one of the reasons why I joined, I enjoy not quite knowing exactly what will happen each day.
There have been times when shift changes have infringed on my personal commitments and plans but accept this as part of my job, as do my family. As I am a more mature police officer and because of my past working life I understand that things change by the minute and as a team player everyone needs to be adaptable and flexible without causing more problems. I have always worked on until a job is completed if necessary without a second thought.
I finished my career working on the Missing person unit at Edmonton Police station, my duties are carrying out research on various data bases, in locating missing adults and children and returning them to their loved ones.
