I have got a strong mechanical background with hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and mechanical fitting. On top of that, I have picked up solid electrical know-how through practical work and a specialised training course covering circuits and inverter drives. I am also familiar with Siemens S7 and TIA software, which adds a bit of extra flexibility to what I can do.
I am someone who takes pride in working hard and always looking for ways to learn and grow. I am detail-oriented and enjoy solving tricky problems, whether on my own or as part of a team. I am just as comfortable taking the lead on a task as I am working alongside others to get the job done right.
With over 18 years of hands-on experience in engineering and maintenance, I bring a solid track record of delivering high-quality, efficient solutions across manufacturing and production environments. Currently self-employed as a subcontractor, I specialise in end-to-end engineering services—ranging from machinery design and fabrication to installation, training, and shift support across the UK and internationally.
Previously, I’ve held senior roles including Maintenance & Engineering Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, where I led cross-functional teams, managed CMMS systems, oversaw plant reliability improvements, and ensured compliance with safety standards. My technical expertise spans mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and optimise production processes.
Skilled in stakeholder collaboration, supplier management, and staff development, I’m passionate about building reliable systems, improving uptime, and leading successful project delivery from concept to completion.
