Help with the day to day running of the dairy farm and the wellbeing of the stock and staff.

• Milking cows on a 20/40 parlour to a high standard. Producing for arla
• Calf rearing from birth to weaning weight which also included dehorning the calves at 80kg and above
• Responsible for drying off cows every couple of weeks as we calve all year round so dry off about 20 a month on average
• Given the task of training new staff when they arrive on the farm for the past 3 years
• Yard work when needed (scraping the housing for the cows, bedding the cows and feeding)
• Quite proficient with a telehandler (JCB)
