Throughout my life I have been driven by one question: why do people and animals behave the way they do? That curiosity led me to study Criminology & Criminal Justice, where I explored criminal behaviour, decision-making, safeguarding, ethics and evidence-based research. It also led me to build and successfully manage a busy customer-facing dog grooming shop in the United Kingdom, where understanding behaviour, earning trust and making ethical decisions became part of my everyday work.
At the age of 19, I moved alone from Romania to the United Kingdom without family or friends, adapting to a new language, culture and society while building my future from the ground up. That experience strengthened my resilience, independence, adaptability and ability to thrive in unfamiliar environments. Today, that same curiosity has brought me to Artificial Intelligence.
I believe AI represents the next stage in human evolution—not as a replacement for people, but as a tool that helps individuals, organisations and society reach their full potential.

Animals, particularly dogs, have been my passion since childhood. For the past five years I have owned and managed a busy dog grooming shop in the United Kingdom. Working face-to-face with customers every day required empathy, observation, communication and professional judgement.
I regularly educated owners about their dog's behaviour, welfare, skin and coat health, explaining not only what decision I had made, but why it was in the dog's best interests. My professional judgement was always guided by welfare rather than commercial interest. On a number of occasions I knowingly risked losing customers and income because I believed the requested service was not in the dog's best interests.
Explaining those decisions calmly, respectfully and with evidence strengthened my ability to justify complex decisions, maintain professional integrity and build long-term trust. Every dog presented a unique personality, emotional state and behavioural pattern. Learning to recognise stress, fear, confidence and trust refined my observational skills and reinforced my belief that understanding behaviour is the foundation of making good decisions.
