My duties surpassed the creative responsibilities associated with a video producer and editor role as I was heavily involved in strategic leadership, business development, planning, sales and pitching, finances, client relationship management, handling multiple projects simultaneously, leading teams and working to deadlines, often under pressure. It also gave me an opportunity to develop a real understanding of how to successfully boost client engagement and conversions all while providing excellent customer service. One of my favourite aspects of this role was how it allowed me to engage and communicate with a wide range of people.
We worked with businesses, the NHS and schools so it allowed me to strengthen my abilities in building rapport with people and professionals from varying backgrounds.

I worked as an in-house photographer for Savantini; a multi-million pound e-commerce business. I was the sole photographer responsible for creating product photography and explainer videos for a hugely varied array of products. The role required a mix of creative storytelling, technical production abilities, strategic thinking and excellent attention to detail, all while working in a fast paced environment.
I would also have regular meetings with suppliers to discuss wants and needs and manage client expectations.
Contract Coordinator at Kingstown Works Ltd (2011-01 – 2014-12)
My role was to schedule and plan work for a multi-disciplined, responsive repair team which included full time members of staff and also subcontractors. Crucially, I needed to be proactive and ensure the workforce was fully utilised at all times, determining the most effective ways to maximise productivity whilst maintaining a high performing customer focused service. It was my responsibility to monitor outputs against KPI's and implement solutions to the businesses needs, working closely with management to ensure an holistic approach at all times.
The job role allowed me to develop my ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Events and Marketing at Age UK (2010-01 – 2011-12)
This position required me to combine elements of standard marketing with targeted, driven fundraising. I was often working with tight budgets which utilised my attributes in resourcefulness and creative problem solving. I would regularly demonstrate persuasive communication skills to convey the charity's values which would help with motivating people to donate their time, efforts and money.
Being able to build a rapport with a diverse range of people ranging from sponsors to members of the community was vital in this role and something I see as a real strength of mine.
