Hello, my name is Millie. I’m 18 years old and I’ve been working as a waitress at a Chinese restaurant in Chelmsford for 2 years so far, I am also currently working as a barista at a Costa and have been for the past year. I passed my theory & practical driving tests as soon as I could and have been driving since October 2023 therefore I am able to get to maldon with ease. I enjoy interaction with team members and customers however I would really like to explore working in the back of house department now. I have a passion and love for food and would really enjoy being part of producing fresh and delicious goods. I have just finished college where I spent two years completing a level 2 & 3 in hospitality and catering. Now this is over I would like to continue doing what I love, preparing and finishing cakes and pastries. However because the experience I’ve been able to gain in the industry I am able to also serve customers, clear tables, clean and even make coffees. As a barista I have enjoyed making flat whites and patterns on them so much I bought my own coffee machine at home with my first pay check! As much as I am able and willing to do these other tasks my dream is to work with food, especially cakes and pastries. This job fits perfectly with what I am looking for, I am hoping to come and experience Maldon Tin Roof Café as a customer as soon as possible but hoping even more so that you consider me as a potential team member.
