About

My journey into Holistic Physiotherapy was inspired by my own experience of overcoming chronic pain associated with a 50-degree scoliosis. For 10 years, I lived with persistent pain and was advised by specialists that spinal fusion surgery was the most appropriate course of action, with the expectation that my condition would continue to deteriorate. Eventually through lifestyle modification, massage therapy, somatic practices, nutrition, strength and mobility training, and intuitive movement through dance - I eliminated my chronic pain, and improved my overall health.

Over the past three years, I have further expanded my understanding of health and healing through extensive travel and study in Thailand and India. During this time, I explored a range of holistic health modalities, including cupping therapy, acupuncture, Ayurveda, Qi Gong, yoga, dance, bodywork, intuitive movement practices and most profoundly Somatic Therapy. These therapeutic practices deepened my appreciation of the interconnected nature of an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing.

This personal and professional journey has given me a unique perspective on rehabilitation and recovery. As a Physiotherapist, I combine evidence-based clinical knowledge with a holistic understanding of health to help clients identify and address the root causes of pain and injury, supporting long-term recovery and optimising movement.
