College at Walford College Shropshire (2021-09 – 2022-05)
A few years ago, I had the enriching experience of attending Walford College, where I joined a Level 3 Animal Management course. This involved a significant amount of hands-on labour, immersing me in the daily care of a diverse range of animals. I learned the importance of meticulous upkeep, cleaning enclosures and ensuring the animals' well-being.
I also gained practical skills in health checking various creatures, from the gentle rabbits and goats to the more exotic snakes, solidifying my understanding of animal care and management. I also learnt a lot about animal biology and plenty about dog breeds and health issues and kennel club regulations. Alongside the course I had to do work experience where I joined Camlas Farm Vets for two weeks.
