I have recently finished my studies at the University of Sussex, where I achieved a 2:1 in Psychology with Neuroscience. I have experience in qualitative and quantitative research, coding, evaluation and teamwork. Currently I am working on my dissertation, which is focused on qualitative research surrounding autism in infants.
I am particularly interested in a career in Clinical Psychology and mental health services, which I aim to enter through an Assistant Psychologist role. Throughout my Psychology with Neuroscience Degree, I have learnt lots about mental health, interventions and medications, and I am eager to expand my knowledge with further training and work in this field. I am passionate about health, mental, physical and emotional, and giving people the support that they deserve.
Front of House at Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 (2023-01 – Present)
I work in The Hub, which is the primary restaurant for Mercedes F1 staff and visitors. Given the prestigious client premises, customer facing skills must be impeccable. We regularly greet and serve VIP visitors to the site, and I provide high-end hospitality often for VIP guests. I help to complete stock-take and am overall involved in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant as part of a small team which provides around 1,000 covers per day.
Barista and Front of House at M on the Square (2021-01 – 2024-12)
During sixth form, I worked in a wine bar and coffee shop, where I provided friendly service and built a rapport with my customers. This job helped me develop the skills to work effectively in busy environments, multi-task efficiently and communicate well with my co-workers and the customers. I completed stock-takes, had key-holder responsibility and was fully barista trained. This was a customer-facing role, so I maintained high-levels of customer service at all times.
Front of House Pub Work at Blackpit Brewery (2022-01 – 2024-12)
I worked for two years in a local brewery, where I served drinks and food, often on shift alone, and would regularly open and close the building. I was responsible for cash handling, stock control and key holding, and so held a lot of responsibility.
