I am currently looking for a job that suits my strengths as a people-pleaser with good communication skills, initiative, and a strong work ethic. I've enjoyed working in busy environments as a team member but have also proven myself to be self-motivated and capable when left with sole responsibility. In the future, I plan to have a career in animal conservation but at the moment am wishing to work and save money so that I am able to travel.

During this period of volunteering at a dog groomers, I was able to be quite hands-on in many jobs such as bathing the dogs, drying, and grooming, as well as a flexible approach to any other little jobs here and there. Teamwork was a key part when working there as to make sure the dogs were done in time and we were all safe whilst doing so as well as good communication to let each other know what had/hadn't been completed or if we needed a hand.

During my time volunteering at the kennels/cattery, I was also allocated many different jobs such as cleaning the kennels, feeding the animals, exercising etc. It was key to use initiative and take a proactive approach, have good communication skills to let others know of what had been done or needed to be done, good teamwork to get jobs done quicker, plus willingness and flexibility to do small jobs that needed to be done on top of the main jobs.
