Coming from another country and settling in cumnock was a big change as I didn't know how things worked here. I've motivated myself to learn systems and structures in a new environment, taken steps to advance in my learning, seek opportunities for selfdevelopment, meet new people and make positive contributions in my community. When tasked with something, I have the ability to plan and organise myself to ensure I am meeting my goals and completing work in a timely fashion.

My core values (respect, empower, make positive change) resonates in everything I chose to be involved in.i have passion for working with children,I used to childmind for others and provided Arabic lessons to children. I enjoy helping them with their development and seeing them progress,this provides me with a sense of achievement.I am confident in communicating my ideas; listening to and valuing contributions of others. I am a social, easy going an approachable person which allows me get on with people at all levels.

In all areas of my work, I have used my communication skills to make people feel at ease, voice important points and be a good team player. I have the ability to express my views/ideas clearly and concisely. I like to keep myself motivated and involved in activities which helps me and others grow.

I carried out childminding duties for family and friend who trust me to pick up their children after school, help with homework and also organise extracurricular activities.
