Following the successful completion of my degree, I am seeking a Junior Graphic Designer position, or equivalent, that enables me to flourish and express my skills within design. For the last three years, I studied Design and Innovation with the Open University, and prior to this, I was employed at Nettl, an SEO, Website Design and Print agency/studio.

Nettl of Aylesbury, Junior Graphic Designer (February 2018 - September 2019)

• Utilised Adobe Suite software within the digital conceptualisation of designs, specifically employing Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Brainstormed and collaborated with customers, enabling them to visualise and facilitate the creation of their ideas, whilst encouraging constructive criticism to prompt development and recognise customer desires.
• Tended to Nettl’s various social media platforms by creating and updating content, incorporating new promotions and products, and responding to customer queries.
• Proposing and designing websites predominantly through Brambl, and WordPress, where I experimented with coding and more advanced site creation. Additionally, I tended to Nettl’s own website, alongside partner ‘Printing.com’, updating promotions and products.
• Whilst integrated towards the end of my employment, I had the opportunity to trial SEO, exploring, e.g., Google Analytics and keywords.
• Alongside creating/designing, I took on general administrative tasks, whereby responding to e-mails, creating customer records, taking payments, sending concepts to print, receiving orders, maintaining studio stock etcetera.
• Occasionally carried out smaller in-house orders, such as leaflets or large singular posters, packaged and presented them to customers.
