I have always been interested in photography and at the age of 13 I got my first DSLR.
I was enthusiastic, doing equine photoshoots and fast paced show photography for free at the riding centres I used to go to.
More recently, I have moved into outdoor pet photography, and am working on honing my skills in this area and pursuing it more seriously as a career.
Animal portraiture is something which I have always enjoyed and I’ve always been passionate about capturing the character of whoever is behind the lens.
Something I would love to gain experience in is studio work - animal or otherwise!
Admittedly, my professional experience is severely lacking in this field as I have only recently decided to pursue photography as a viable career option since May 2022. (Previous to this I had been a full time student, and any photography work had been for free).
However, from the age of 13 I have been photographing horses in a fast paced environment, which has given me a unique (if relatively niche) set of skills in this area.
With over seven years of animal photographic experience, I am confident in my ability to capture and edit striking images of whoever is behind the lens - capturing pets’ character and quirks.
I am most experienced with horses, dogs, and cats.
