Set up and operate machines, such as lathes, cutters, millers, drills, or auxiliary machines, to makeworkpieces.
Inspect workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation,using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions and to planoperational sequences.
Start machines and turn handwheels or valves to engage feeding, cooling, and lubricating mechanisms.
Monitor the machines during the whole process
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if theprocess has been completed properly
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
