I am an enthusiastic individual, seeking a part-time employment opportunity. I believe I would make a great asset to your team as I am a committed, hardworking individual who strives for the best. After successfully achieving sound GCSE and A levels results, I am currently working towards getting a degree in building surveyor at Northumbria university. To support my studies, I would like to join a team within the work field to gain practical experiences.

Charity Worker at Quba-e-siddique (2020-01 – Present)

I was part of a group in the charity that would help people with the things they needed.

• I would organise food and hand it out to people to eat and then clean up once people are done.
• I would interact with people asking how their day has been and if they got everything they need and if they needed anything else.
• This helped me gain confidence, team working skills and my communication skills.

Volunteer at Local Food Bank (2017-01 – 2017-12)

I was part of a team where I had to organise where people were going to put the food in. We had to give each classroom a cardboard box for them to put the food in.

• How we were going to tell people we were going to collect food for the food bank, we made a video and presented the video in assembly.
• Then we collected the food from the classrooms after a couple a week and put them in designated groups such as tin cans that go in one area together then we put all the food we had collected and put them in a minibus to be dropped off at the food bank.
• This helped me gain confidence, develop my team working and communication skills.

Buddy at Nando's (2023-05 – 2024-12)

My position is buddy which is someone who trains new recruits and helps them feel welcome in Nando's and helps them understand what their role is and what they must do to fit the role and tell them what is expected of Nando's. I train new recruits front of house and back of house depending on their role, I am cross trained throughout the restaurant. I have worked for Nando's over a year, and I still work there I also want to expand my career in other places.

Nando's has helped me gain better team working skills and customer service skills and has made me be more independent and relay on myself more and resolve issue with customers myself instead of getting a manager involved.

Home Delivery Driver at ASDA (2024-12 – Present)

My position at Asda is in the home shopping department, my role is a customer delivery driver, I deliver peoples shopping to their door and I also occasionally work in store and pack orders for customers who have ordered online. This job has increased my confidence level and communicating with people. This job has also improved my driving skills and helped me overcome problems on my own and as a team.
