My job role as a John Lewis partner is to represent the store and provide excellent customer service, always wearing a smile. Ensuring that customer needs have been met. As a John Lewis partner, I have various roles.
This includes serving customers on all tills, looking after customers in fitting rooms, assisting customers on shoes for menswear, as well as going round the shop floor asking customers if they need any assistance and most importantly ensuring that all items are in the correct area and neat. Each time a customer has an enquiry, I always ensure that I check the device to see if we have the product in store/online. If the item is available in store and is not on shop floor, I go to the stock room and look for the item.
If it’s not available in store, I advise the customer to purchase the item online. They can do this at home or in store. I would also take my time to gain product knowledge on high end clothing such as Hugo Boss casual wear and Hugo Boss suiting, Ralph Lauren, and many other high-end brands.
I am also a recovery supervisor which entails of me ensuring that each and every colleague (myself included) is keeping the shop floor neat and ensuring that clothes are folded to standards.
2 years at college, i did a it course and achieved a D*DD
