My name is Mohammed Walid. I am a third year medical student studying at Bart's and the London (part of Queen Mary University of London). I currently work as a matchday safety steward for Servoca. I work pitchside and ensure the safe entry and exit of match-going fans with the highest levels of hospitality. I am an avid football fan and enjoy being in that environment, seeing fans such as myself enjoying matches and feeling all the emotions make my job well worth its while.
I am a natural leader who is ready to drop his own pride at any given moment and work as part of a team. With servoca, for example, I work as part of a large team of pitchside stewards who coordinate operations together to ensure both fan and player safety, preventing pitch invasions. I am a welcoming person who is ready to help new members of the team at any time and take constructive criticism from my supervisor to hone my skills and work more effectively with my team.
I work as a pitchside steward for Servoca Solutions Ltd, where I ensure fan safety, direct fans to their seats and check their matchday tickets by the gates to prevent tailgating.
I am very adept at spotting suspect packages, safeguarding concerns (e.g, a child without a parent, or an elderly person in need of help), fires and medical emergencies amidst the hustle and bustle of a premier league matchday. I work at Chelsea mainly and have done for the past couple of years (since June 2022), but I have also worked at Brentford, QPR, West Ham and Fulham. This depth of experience makes me a very useful steward to have as part of the team.
A-Level Grades:
I am currently a third year medical student at QMUL (specifically the medical school - Bart's and the London).
