I have been working for the NHS (UK) for 10 years since 2014 starting as a junior doctor training through to a Consultant level. Over this period, I have had experience of working in various prestigious institutes including Cambridgeshire University Hospitals.

I have successfully completed MRCP (UK) and MRCP (Endocrinology and Diabetes). I achieved dual CCT (Endocrinology & Diabetes and General Internal Medicine) and entered into the GMC (UK) Specialist Register in September 2022 after successfully completing the National Specialty Training Program.

I have been working as a Consultant Physician, Diabetes and Endocrinology in Cambridge university hospital form august 2022 until January 2023 and then Bedford NHS University Hospitals since March 2023. I am in process of becoming a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP) reflecting my commitment to excellence in both academic and clinical aspects of medicine.

I am experienced in setting up and organizing different specialty Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings locally and regionally including Pituitary, Thyroid, Parathyroid and Adrenal MDT’s. I am also a certified DAFNE Doctor and help deliver this specialized course for people living with Type 1 Diabetes.

I am a Clinical Supervisor for junior colleagues. I have been closely involved in teaching and training medical students and trainee doctors at different levels I am continue to provide regional denary teaching for foundation doctor and speciality doctor in diabetes and endocrinology

While I excel in managing general Diabetes and Endocrine disorders including Diabetes technology, Adrenal disorders, Pituitary disorders, Thyroid disorders and Calcium and Electrolyte disturbances,

As a Sudanese British doctor, I can speak Arabic and English fluently.
