Nursery Apprentice - Blossoms Day Nursery - Staffordshire

When I first started in February 2021 I was based in a room age group 2 years getting the children to be able to use there independence and be able to use knife and forks at meal times self serve getting them to potty train if still in nappies, doing lot of activities messy fun activities also getting them to sit down at story time join in with singing dancing, to be able to meet the children's needs. I worked in this room for 1 year and a half I know work with the pre school children which is 3 years in this room we are getting the children prepared for school and making sure they are able to put own shoes and coats on be able to recognise numbers 1 to 10, be able to write there name and still enjoy and have some fun at nursery along side learning.

I work in toddler room but back in November I'd take it in turns in baby room on a Wednesday pre school on a Thursday and then following week be in toddlers and rotate I help /look after children giving them the full care they need everyday as in nappy changing tea snacks and make sure they enjoy there days at nursery planning activities eg over Christmas it was all based on Santa and all Christmassy things and now in January we're basing on a jungle theme but I really enjoyed working here.
