During my volunteering at Oxfam I gained insightful skills in the retail industry such as engaging with customers in a unique way so that they felt comfortable and their needs were fulfilled. Adaptability is another skill I acquired; having to work during busy periods, processing transactions accurately and understanding customer needs and recommending products were essential skills I learnt.
