I am an individual who is hardworking, reliable, trustworthy and who is extremely keen to progress and build on the knowledge and skills I have developed to date. I thrive on working under pressure and time constraints and therefore challenges do not concern me. I am gregarious and a team player but equally I can work comfortably without supervision.
I am in search of a career where I can bring my hard work and dedication to a task to a new role, and will reward me with progression and release the greater potential that I have.

Operator - Gregory Distribution
(2014-09 - 2020)
Gregory Distribution is one of the largest privately owned transport companies in the UK, delivering distribution and logistics solutions for over 100 years. Working for Gregory Distribution as a day operator has many daily challenges and also comes with many responsibilities. My main responsibility is to operate our drivers on their deliveries using the Man-Pack system, this ensures we hit our deliveries on time and ensures our customers are completely satisfied.
We abide by the use of the five guiding principles which are: Pride, people, profit, planet, & partnership. I am also competent on the Inet System which is used to inform our customer service team if deliveries are running late. An important aspect of my role is making direct phone calls to customers.
My organisational skills are put to the test on a busy day when I can operate over forty drivers which can consist of over 160 runs (deliveries), during which I often encounter many problems such as transport breakdowns, heavy traffic due to inclement weather or accidents. It is my job to ensure that these problems do not affect our deliveries as I organise breakdown call outs, re-routing drivers and re-planning driver's job
Restaurant Shift Management - McDonalds
(2010-11 - 2014-08)
Working for this leading international brand has taught me a great deal of transferable skills. McDonalds is a company which prides itself on delivering a world class customer service combined with affordable quality convenience food. This operation can be very challenging, my main responsibilities were cash handling, customer service, stock control, merchandising, food preparation, health and safety and supervision of all junior staff on shift, I also managed pre-shift set up which included floorplans, target setting and labour control.
Communication included daily phone calls with my operations consultant on how smoothly my business was running on that specific day. Teamwork played a large part of the branch operations as tasks are delegated to colleagues and reviewed by myself. I have attended various courses as the Shift Manager which have equipped me with valuable organisational skills such as prioritising key tasks.
Games Manger - National Paintball Fields
(2008-04 - 2012)
This role saw me managing and refereeing paintball games for the daytime paying customers. My responsibilities included the pre-organisation of the day which was key to the smooth running of each event, organising and informing my marshals on what was expected from them during the day and how to interact and inform their customers of all the proceedings during their time at the event. One of my many important responsibilities was the health and safety of over thirty paying customers and the two marshals that acted as my assistants, and I am pleased and proud to say that during my time as the manager of these events we had no serious injuries or problems.
