I am bioinformatician, interested in the construction and analysis of molecular interaction maps (MIMs).”
The wealth of data and the diversity of data types in the life sciences make it difficult to identify those variables of a system that relevant to a disease process. MIMs are created using experimental data, information the literature and mining databases. Once MIMs have created a range of mathematical and computational tools are used to explore and visualize maps. The outcomes of these analyses are predictions about molecules,
pathways and their interactions in the context of a disease.
Disease-specific MIMs, and our analysis, support biologist and clinical researchers with the design of new experiments and contribute to a better understanding of diseases
I have working experienced on reconstruction of Molecular Interaction Map (MIM) on Colorectal Cancer (CRC).
Generally biological studies associate a single pathway to a disease. I identified five pathways TGFB, TLR4, WNT,
EGFR and Estrogen pathway CRC map that are associated to this disease. Using the approach of Boolean modeling
I am trying to analyze the combined effect of these pathways on CRC. I have experienced to design the work flow to understand the NGS data. NGS data we can study any disease on its sequence level. I designed a work flow which is helping to find the structure variants part in any Sequencing data.
I designed scripts in python programing I used dcoker container to filter the Structure variants data help of VCF tools. Now days I am participating covid-19 disease map. My main motivation is to help the clinical people better understanding the disease mechanisms.
I would like to enlist the research work which I did with SBI Rostock.
I have already worked on Colorectal Cancer. Hence I am familiar to the signaling pathways associated to it.
I have experience in reconstruction of molecular signaling networks and network simulation by Boolean modeling.
I have experience in multidisciplinary research and have been a part of an internationally diverse research team.
I have experienced in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
I found Structure Variants (SV) data from of our collaborators.
I made a script and work flow to find SV from Collar project.
I am attaching, reference letter from Prof. Wokenhauer this letter. I would be glad to be considered for this position.
Yours sincerely,
I am Muhammad Naveez, MS in Computer systems from Riga Technical University, Latvia June, 2017. I did my
Bachelors in bioinformatics from Government College University Faisalabad, Punjab Pakistan. Currently, I am working with the group of Professor Olaf Wolkenhauer at System Biology and Bioinformatics group at University of
Rostock.
