I am a highly self motivated Civil Engineer with BSC in Civil Engineering obtained from Kingston University London currently seeking for a role in Qatar. I currently work for Barhale Ltd as Civil Site Engineer for the last 3 years. I have various experiences on multiple jobs mainly within the water industry from initial stages through to successfully completing projects with minimal defects.

I have a passion for learning and developing new and existing skills and enjoy problem solving. I am keen to secure a new role in Qatar to widen my experience and knowledge in the Engineering world.

Severn Trent Water – Resilience Project Birmingham, UK

• Attended crucial site meetings and liaised with subcontractors to ensure that the project was thoroughly planned
• Ensured that the drainage, manholes, roads and concrete slabs were laid accurately
• Liaised with the design team to ensure that the work carried out correlated with the designed produced and to discussed any discrepancies 
• Completed as-built surveys of the 28km Pipeline laid from Stourport to Frankley treatment works to produce rev Z drawings

 

Strongford LTP – Doosan (Severn Trent Water Site) 

• Efficiently managed five separate teams on site to ensure all works are being carried out accurately and to specifications
• Handled paperwork and responsibly signed off Inspection test plans from clients
• Completed Daily Allocation sheets to keep records of works and personnel onsite in order to track project progression
• Conducted Cable avoidance surveys prior to any excavations in order to complete and issue permits
• Submitted RAMS to clients in a timely manner for approval prior to the commencement of work to avoid delays 

Midland Metro Alliance and Broseley SPS

• Used initiative to order project materials and equipment prior to the commencement of work to avoid delays alongside scheduling deliveries so that there are no hindrances to the work on site
• Maintained design drawing folders and raise technical queries with designers
• Ensured that risk is minimised on site by proactively checking that safety measures are adhered to and by delivering tool box talks to the site staff 

Scarborough Piling Civils – SUEZ / Mc-Cains

• Accurately arranged 300+ Piles for the perimeter of works 
• Maintained the drawings regularly whilst on site to ensure that any changes were reflected
• Implemented value Engineering throughout project to avoid wastage of materials
• Liaised confidently with Subcontractors to conduct forward planning and organise the next stages of the project
• Completed detailed Weekly Allocations to submit to client displaying plant and labour time allocations
