As a legal assistant I have great attention to detail as I support one of the senior partners in the firm as well as other solicitors, and help clients with legal issues. The main duties and responsibilities include; preparing legal documents, wills, complaints and responses. Communicating effectively between lawyers and clients to coordinate appointments, including all correspondence and logistics necessary, and keeping all parties updated.

The main duties and responsibilities working for this taxi company included: Taking and dealing with bookings and enquiries over the phone, providing quotes, dispatching work to drivers, recording and inputting information accurately and communicating with customers efficiently and professionally. Assisting drivers where required. This job allowed me to work on my customer service skills and to keep calm when communicating with difficult customers on a daily basis and helped me to use my own initiative and further develop problem solving skills when dealing with difficult situations on my own.

As a security officer, my role entails me to offer exceptional customer service skills whilst creating a safe environment, free from crime, and the fear of crime. The main duties are to deter violence and public order offences alongside patrolling of premises. Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and being vigilant.
It also includes for me to liase and form great professional working rapport with staff, management teams, and police to reduce any form of crime and create safe environments for the public. This job has allowed me to gain exceptional communication skills with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. I have been able to work on being patient, working independently which has built my confidence deterring situations from becoming serious.
I am also fully first aid trained and have ongoing security training for safety measurements.

During my time studying my law degree, I had the opportunity to gain experience in a claims firm, where I was able to gain a lot of knowledge and first-hand experience working in a busy environment with clients negotiating settlements, investigating individual and complex cases, analyzing information, and managing the resolution process, whilst also giving advice on claims within the law industry. Thus preparing me and giving me the boost to working in the law sector when finishing my degree.

I worked in HERMES warehouse which entailed me to be very active and work to deadlines sorting through shipment parcels. This job allowed me to work on my time management skills and work as a team.
