An ambitious and enthusiastic final-year Property Development and Planning student at Nottingham Trent University. With work experience in a real estate trade association alongside technical construction operations and building regulations. I am looking to work throughout my final year of university as I have excellent organisation and time-keeping skills to upkeep the work and university life balance.
British Property Federation: Policy Team
I sat in the House of Commons to overhear the discussion of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee with the agenda of reforming the Private Rented Sector. I managed a project which involved contacting local authorities and consultancies to establish their build-to-rent policies in their local plan and the extent of their policies so that the British Property Federation could publish this on their website. I worked closely alongside the sustainability department, helping them to engage with their members for their Net Zero Pledge and collate all the necessary data.
I also attended the ESG & Sustainability BPF Futures Policy Congress.
National House Building Council: Technical Operations
Working independently on aiding their Construction Industry Council Approved Inspectors Register (CICAIR) mock audits. Regularly helping to keep on top of claims, by contacting building inspectors for updates on their sites. Shadowing senior technical operations managers and engineers with site regulations; joining them on customer defect claims and site inspections.
