I have just passed my HGV C+E licence from Ben Shaw Training, where I became proficient in driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle. I am looking forward to applying my new skills in Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles.
I am eager to start on my new career as a HGV driver.
I have been driving for Asda Stores Ltd for almost 10 years and over that period I have gained valuable experience in the transport role. I have gained many transferable skills like route planning and navigational skills, time management, the ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written formats, organisational skills, customer service skills, the ability to work independently, being safety and efficiency conscious and being detail oriented.
I passed my GCSEs in 2001 and my A-Levels in 2005. I have been working ever since.
In December 2023 I passed my HGV cat C+E licence with initial CPC.
