I currently work in the Science industry but am seeking a career change into a role that is fast-paced and ignites my passion for working hard and making positive change. I am open to training in a new field and expanding my knowledge, whilst utilising my existing skills to allow me to progress and become an integral part of a community of hard working professionals.
Key skills I have gathered whilst being in the science industry for two years are have impeccable organisational and analytical skills, being no stranger to working in a team and managing tasks and workload in an efficient manner and becoming accustomed to working alongside external clients and seeing their needs are met to a high standard. I also have admirable computer and IT skills, frequently working with quantitative data and analytical trends. I also worked in the hospitality industry for three years, enabling me to exceed customer expectations and provide excellent service, and become comfortable working in a social environment.
After receiving a BSc in Animal Behaviour with First Class Honours, my degree has equipped me with a plethora of technical skills, namely my analytical ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills, and being comfortable performing a high volume of tasks in a short space of time, preparing me to work in a fast-paced environment. My higher education provided me with a range of transferable skills that include becoming confident working alongside other professionals, developing computer and IT skills and having effective time-management and organisational skills.
