I am a young student hoping to be able to find a job in order to make some money. I am currently at college 3 times a week, meaning that I am free for the other 4 days. I am hoping to pursue a career change and try out different sectors of jobs since it will help me with learning as a person.
I am also in my final year at college, meaning that I am looking into earning some money to help me out with university afterwards. I live in a very local area which is beneficial for more help if it is needed in such short notice. I am very used to the fast-paced environment and is something that I am comfortable in being involved with.
I enjoy working as a team and making new connections as I feel like that helps with becoming a better person. I always drive to succeeding within my work and always put all my effort towards it. However, this doesn't stop me from enjoying the moment as well and taking pride in it.
I am a friendly, kind and passionate human being, which I know is useful when working with the public and providing a service. I hope to be able to take a new path in order to discover more places.

EXPERIENCE For the 2023 Christmas Period (September - December ) I was an able to work for Yankee Candle as a Christmas temp sales assistant. Although I only for 4 months, I was able to learn the main skills that are needed when working in retail. I have been taught how to work in the back with stocks,
such as arranging them and getting them out of the delivery boxes, as well as stocking up the shelves on the sales floor and having them look resentful . Throughout my time at Yankee, they were also able to show me how the merchandising works and how to achieve it to aesthetic standards. Aside from learning to work in the sales floor and stock floor, I was also able to learn how to approach customers and how you are to treat them whilst being at work.
I was able to learn that patience is key with a customer as well as respecting their decisions and keeping it together in the case that something was to happen eg: rude customers. I have also been able to learn how hard I can be perfecting shop floors and trying to achieve targets daily. It has taught me that when working, you have to work to the maximum effort that you can achieve.
Yankee was also able to teach me how to look presentable for customers and how discipline is a key factor in the sales process at work. I am now experienced in serving customers and knowing how to treat them. Organising a shop floors and having them look perfected for the public, and finally I am now also experienced in how to handle orders when they come through to the shop stocks, This includes money handling as well.
I am a student meaning that I have completed my basic required educations. I went to Fullhurst Community College for my secondary school and spent the 5 years required there . I started in 2018 and finished in the summer of 2023.
I passed all my GCSE’s with a 6 and 7 in English , 4 in Maths and a 5 for the rest apart from Spanish , in which I got a 9.I am now a student at Leicester College , studying creative media. I have finished my first year of this and now onto my second. I passed my first year with a Distinction which I am very pleased about and hoping to get the same for the second year .Whilst I am here I am learning how the media world works such as the cinematograph, marketing and demographics of our area.
I am going to be finishing this college year , next year in June and then will go onto University. I am at college only 3 times a week (Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday) meaning that I have the other days off and willing to use them properly .
