C++ Software Engineer at Mark Roberts Motion Control (Research & Development Division) (2022-01 – Present)

• Developed software (Multi Head Controller - MHC) for controlling standard PTZ cameras (Sony, Panasonic, Canon, MRMC etc) in real-time using camera kinematics, implemented in modern C++, leveraging MFC, Boost and PoCo libraries for system logic, GStreamer for real-time video pipelines, and Qt/QML for an interactive GUI, along with unit testing and ensuring timely releases through CI/CD (Bamboo)
• Python was used to build tooling and tests for the implemented features and functionality, including verifying the integrity of the software
• The project featured a server-client architecture, built as a fully multi-threaded system and implemented using established design patterns and principles
