Natalie Askey

I am a calm, kind and sociable person who is eager to return to work following six months of maternity leave. I am open to opportunities across a range of sectors, as my main goal is to find a role where I can work hard, learn new skills and make a positive contribution. I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships, and I am at my best when working as part of a team, supporting others and helping to achieve shared goals.

I have always been willing to step outside of my comfort zone and take on new challenges. Through my volunteering experience, college studies and personal responsibilities, I have developed strong communication, teamwork, organisation and leadership skills. I understand the importance of being reliable, punctual and professional, and I take pride in being someone others can depend on.

I am naturally curious and always looking for ways to improve myself, both personally and professionally. I enjoy learning new things and am happy to be trained in a new role. I am not afraid of hard work or tasks that I find difficult.

Throughout my life, I have had to work hard and give my best effort to achieve what I have so far, which has taught me resilience, determination and a strong work ethic. Rather than shying away from challenges, I see them as opportunities to learn and grow. I can offer an employer enthusiasm, reliability, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Groundwork Maintenance Volunteer at Port Vale Football Club (2024-01 – Present)

• Cleaned stadium seating areas, entrances, food court areas and surrounding grounds.
• Carried out litter picking and maintained clean and safe environments for visitors.
• Assisted with seasonal activities, including wrapping Christmas presents.

Family Carer (Unpaid)

Alongside my studies at high school and college, I supported the care of a bed-bound family member for around three years. As the oldest sibling, I took on significant responsibilities from a young age, helping me develop maturity, compassion and a strong sense of responsibility.
