General Assistant - Hobbycraft - Biggleswade

My role at Hobbycraft, as a General Assistant, allowed me to oversee several successful projects to revolutionise and improve the Biggleswade branch that I was based in. Most notably tackling the training of new team members regarding customer service which saw our branch maintain our reputation of having the best customer service score within the area. Aside with undertaking internal marketing which encapsulated generating memberships for customers and establishing new accounts allowing our store to retain high customer retention.
Additionally, I actively improve my customer service skills through the use of both in-person and over the phone contact with the public which has resulted in my strength and confidence of both listening and communication skills, this in turn has enhanced the operations within different sectors of our branch due to clear and effective communication not only with the community but with the team too. My time at Hobbycraft also allowed the responsibility of taking ownership over different external accounts. Telesales Executive - Stepchange Outsourcing

My career at Stepchange Outsourcing falls under a Telesales Executive role, throughout my time at Stepchange I have successfully been able to hone several sales and communication skills alongside with developing my attributes such as teamwork and leadership. My role specifically sees me offering an array of EE products such as; EE home broadband, mobile broadband, watches, tablets, sims, additional phones and other online services to both existing and new customers. Ultimately leading to the development of my communication skills through both sales and building a rapport with my customers.
Despite the short time working at Stepchange Outsourcing, I have become one of the top sales people within my cohort, consistently exceeding all my targets: daily, weekly and monthly. Placing at the top of my cohort encourages and motivates me to excel further to maintain the high standards I have set for myself. Although I am less than a year into my role at Stepchange I have adapted to their fast-paced culture effectively, showing flexibility and willingness to learn, compared to my previous role at Hobbycraft which saw a slower paced work environment.
