Nathan Maetzener

With over 8 years of industry experience I've had the pleasure of working on a number of animated series for television and streaming services. I have animated on 2D series including Final Space and the Bravest Warriors. For the past 4 years I've been storyboarding on various shows including Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Pinecone and Pony and Cocomelon Lane.

For the majority of my career I've been based in Toronto, Canada as I'm a Canadian however I've recently relocated to the UK on a spouse visa so I have permission to work in England. :) Thanks for stopping by to review my page and for your consideration! I've been in the animation industry since 2015. I started out working as an animator on Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot about that tv Specials and continued animating on other series until moving over to the storyboard department in 2018. Since then I've gone back and forth a little between the 2 departments but have never been out of work for more than a couple weeks in between projects.

I have experience using ToonBoom software including Harmony and Storyboard Pro. I have worked in studio setting as well as from home freelance. I am capable and enjoy working in a team dynamic and make sure I communicate with supervisors and workmates about my progress to make deadlines.

I went to school for animation back in Toronto, Canada at a private college that specializes specifically in animation formerly known as Max the Mutt: College of Animation, Art and Design.

It was a 3 year program where I studied visual arts fundamentals, classical animation, script writing, acting for animation. Was trained to use Storyboard Pro, Harmony, Flash and Maya.
