Nathan Somevi

I’m a full stack developer building modern web applications from front end to back end. I work with JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems to create responsive user interfaces, scalable APIs, and secure database integrations. I handle the full development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing and deployment. My focus is clean, maintainable code and delivering reliable solutions that solve real business problems.

Full stack and mobile developer with practical experience building web and mobile applications. I’ve worked on open-source projects, including cross-platform mobile apps built with modern frameworks (for example a Flutter-based app on my GitHub with community engagement features).

In addition to general web and app work, I’ve built websites for charity organisations, focusing on usability, accessibility, and reliable performance. I write clean, maintainable code and deliver practical, secure solutions that help organisations meet their goals.

I studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Robert Gordon University and the University of Strathclyde. During my degree, I built a strong foundation in mathematics, circuit analysis, systems design, and problem solving. The course required a structured, analytical approach to complex technical challenges, which has carried over directly into my work as a developer.
