I am a graduate from the University of York having studied Economics and achieving a 2:1 final grade in June 2022. I have strong analytical skills and a keen interest in the finance sector. Looking to take my knowledge and experience from University and apply it to a fast paced and changing work environment.

June 2018: Mercer Limited: Actuarial Work Experience

• Data Analysis: Reviewed Mercer clients’ balance sheets and calculated future liabilities and risk in order to ascertain the level of investment needed to cover those liabilities, therefore ensuring the clients sustainability in the future.
• Presenting Skills: Created and presented strategies to engage younger generations in actuarial work in order to spark interest and diversification in the industry.

• Communication with the public: Dealt with complaints and reasoned with disgruntled customers to get the best possible outcome for all parties and leave the customers happy.
• Teamwork: Worked as part of a team of waiters to deliver service on time and effectively while constantly in communication with each other as well as the managers and chef.

• Ensuring High Standards: Reviewed and filled out paper passports for loads of grain that meet Red Tractors assured food standards.
• Teamwork: Worked as part of a small, cohesive team under seasonal pressure to successfully harvest crops at the optimal level of quality and quantity in order to maximise the financial return at the point of sale.
• Ingenuity: Working individually on problems as they arise during the course of undertaking farmwork and resolving these issues.
• Practical Machinery and Software Handling: Proud to be able to operate large farm machinery assets competently and at a high level. Along with operating software such as John Deere Green Star guidance. This makes me a well rounded individual with an appreciation of different work environments.
