Coating and Maintenance Specialist

• Conduct toolbox meeting to determined what kind if hazard we are dealing on site.
• Set-up and operate blasting machines, air compressors, hose, nozzles, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of various blast
• Check the blasting pot prior to start
• Check the air fed helmet if fit completely over the head and neck to shoulder with constant supply of clean air.
• Prepare the surface by removing rust, old paint, dirt , grease and other contaminants
• Inspect surface before, during, and after blasting to ensure cleanliness.
• Check the weather condition or asked the supervisor prior to start
• Apply paint with brush and roller
• Apply coatings through conventional spray gun, electric airless, Pneumatic airless spray machine
• Proper use of paint mixing cup
• Understanding or reading of drawings or blueprints.
• Knowledge of various painting methods and application.
• Coordinate with supervisors and inspectors.
• Use measuring instrument such as WFT and DFT gauges/meter.
• Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies.
• Use hand tools such as grinder, sandpaper for surface preparation.
• Follow safety procedures including proper use of PPE.
• Safe operation of construction tools and equipment.
• Perform house keeping after finishing the shifts. (5S)
