I have a strong health and social care background, with a range of experience in managing residential placements and providing niche support on complex cases. My focus has been around supporting individuals and families with complex barriers, including mental health, substance misuse, CSE and childhood trauma. I have more recently worked with adults with Autism, ADHD and SEND needs using the SEQF framework to find employment.
I have managed a range of semi-independent residential placements for care leavers, young offenders and families for 7 years. This included direct work with mental health and NHS services, liaising with local council social services and providing personalised support and care planning for every service user. I was Designated Safeguarding Lead, and improved service delivery standards in preparation for Ofsted application.
I have a BSc in Media and Communications and a Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management. I am currently studying a BSc in Psychology and a Level 5 HRBP Diploma.
