Community delivery driver - Well Pharmacy Group - Balderton, Newark, Peterborough

In this role, I was responsible for delivering prescriptions to patients who were unable to get to the pharmacy. I had to ensure that all the prescriptions were labelled correctly with the patients delivery address, liaising with the pharmacy for any controlled or refrigerated medication, calculating the most efficient route in line with the daily time, and reporting any issues to my delivery manager and the pharmacist.

Multi Drop Class 2 Driver - Brakes Ltd - Grantham

In this role, I was responsible for delivery catering supplies to various hospitality establishments around the country inc Pubs, restaurants, bars and cafes in a specific delivery window. As part of this role, I had to do daily checks of the vehicles, reporting any defects immediately, checking the safety of the load, ensure all invoices were correct and signatures were obtained at each establishment whilst also adhering to the rules of tachographs and road safety. On returning to the depot, ensuring that all paperwork was handed in completed, post delivery checks of the vehicles are completed and ready for the next use.

Pharmacy Delivery Driver - Well Pharmacy - Balderton

In this role I was responsible for liaising with pharmacy staff to deliver prescriptions to Offender Units (prisons) including HMP Morton Hall, HMP Fosse Way, HMP Lowdham Grange, HMP Lincoln and HMP North Sea Camp, within a specific time frame so as to not affect the daily routine of each prison. On returning to the pharmacy, handing over repeat prescriptions to the pharmacy staff and inputting information onto computer including any delays incurred and timings of each delivery.

Operational Support Grade/Prison Officer/Admin Support - HM Prison Service

Whilst working for the Prison Service I have carried out 3 different roles.

• Operational Support Grade: Driving duties included Prisoner transfers to various prisons around the country, Hospital and funeral escorts and visits to sick relatives as well as collecting goods from various retailers for prison benefit.
• Main gate duties including booking in and out of all personnel both staff and visitors, Searching vehicles in and out of the establishment for contraband or escape attempts.
• Once the search was completed I had to escort vehicles within the prison grounds to delivery points i.e. Kitchen and Workshops.
• Process all incoming and outgoing mail for staff and prisoners which includes drug dog use for searching for contraband.
• Monitoring CCTV throughout the establishment.
• Booking in and searching visitors on dedicated search days.
• Communicating to all staff within the prison using a radio control system.
• Patrolling internal and external fence lines according to security guidelines.
• Prison Officer: Working with prisoners on a daily basis to rehabilitate them
• Providing them with work/education/courses during their sentence.
• Address their behaviour by working with them and their Offender Manager to create sentence plans.
• Allow them to keep connections with their families by providing visits day, family days, regular weekly letters and in cell phone calls.
• Challenge poor behaviour and explore reasons behind it.
• Monitor and support vulnerable prisoners.
• Admin Support - Expansion project: Vetting Tasks – ensuring that all contractors and company managers are vetted to the necessary level to work within a Government building/grounds.
• Arranging weekly meetings and visits for personnel from various trades to assess progress and keep up to date with any issues or problems that have been brought up.
• Recruiting staff to undertake escorting duties from the Civil Service website or Agencies.
