About

I am a passionate, skilful and committed senior team member, looking for new challenges and professionalism within the security sector. I have over 5 years full time experience, working in many different areas and aspects of the industry. Working roles as an SIA Door Supervisor and also in the Close Protection side of the business.

Last year I was lucky enough to work direct with Live Nation, working as tour security for a very high profile American female artist whilst she was on tour in the UK. More recently, after completing Head of Security training, with Showsec International, I am working as a Casual HoS/Senior Supervisor at the Leeds First Direct Bank Arena and other Showsec run venues. I was also recently involved in helping the company win a new venue contract in the Bradford area, from being on the ground from day 1, help building the security team, liaising with the events Duty Managers and attending the venue management meetings.

I am currently looking to focus on work in the Close Protection field, looking for high standards and to assist and elevate any team around me. I feel I am proficient in assessing and understanding the needs of the customer, team objectives and company brand standards. I have the ability to work alone, unsupervised as well as being part of a team.

I possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate diligently at all company and customer levels.

Also working outside overseeing the external operations, counter terrorism positions, soft ticket check points, queue management, search procedures and door/venue security. With Showsec I have worked in many different security environments, including Arenas, Festivals, Sports Grounds, Race Tracks, Nightclubs, Hotels, Conference Centres and Theatres as an SIA Supervisor and also in a Close Protection Officer capacity, i have had the opportunity to work alongside a number of high profile principles and world class artists.

This work requires me to possess good communication skills, to be able to work under pressure, to deal/take ownership of customers’ and staff problems, to be able to meet customers’ expectations, to be flexible, work alone and unsupervised when necessary as well of being part of a larger team.
