Employed on the SSI plant responsible for the maintenance constant production within the coke and coal plant.

• I used a wide range tools including stihl saws, grinders, pneumatic drills, air tools, and a variety of hand tools and air tools.
• Lubrication of bearings on conveyor belts checking bearings are fully operational and lubricated, checking and maintaining gear boxes.
• Worked alongside engineers and tradesmen to ensure belts and heavy plant was maintained, with lubrication being the focus of my work.
• Time management was vital to my role to ensure that on going daily work was covered whilst also responding to urgent issues to ensure production was not compromised.
• I planned and organised my work to guarantee targets and deadlines were met and work was completed within the given timeframe.
• I was a multifunctional member of the team and supported staff within SSI when and where necessary being flexible in my approach.
• Completing adhoc work including providing equipment to tradesmen and delivering materials across the plant.

Scaffolder part 2 at Darlington Scaffolding (2012-02 – 2012-07)

As a Scaffolder I had to erect and strip scaffolding, work at great heights, use equipment and machinery safely and correctly as well as working to customer and company specifications.

Duties included erecting and stripping scaffolding, working at heights and using machinery. Jobs included town work on new builds and sites along with private jobs for example, working on farms.
