Since completing 5 years in the “Construction Dept.” (Design Office) with British Gas (Southern Region) in 1985, experience has been gained in many aspects of Piping and Vessel design primarily for the Oil and Gas industry. The range of duties have been as broad as being part of a full design team being disciplined to dealing purely with Piping, to being the sole Designer / Engineer dealing with Civil / Structure and Electrical aspects. Much Fieldwork experience has also been gained on Process Plants, Refineries and offshore (including FPSO’s) in a wide scope from site survey work to Construction Supervision in climates and environments of extremes.
Experience has also been gained with the production of Sugar, Latex, PTA and Pharmaceutical. Predominately C.A.D. since 1982, although still able to and enjoy producing drawings manually.
