I had been in full time employment as a painter and decorator since leaving sixth form until very recently I decided it upon myself to undertake a career change/attempt a different type of work sector. I have worked for various firms learning all aspects of the trade during the time I was in the painting and decorating trade, I have gained much experience in teamwork, developing skills in conflict management alongside having excellent communication skills. I am a hard worker with impeccable time keeping and I am always willing to work in a team or independently.

I understand the importance of deadlines and I am well able to meet them. My most recent employer was a Hydraulics company which involved the manufacturing sector. I am looking to extend my repertoire of skills therefore I would be open to new roles and opportunities & I am willing to undertake any training required.

Assembling valves on the production line to the approved standards by following the company's processes and procedures. I occasionally was moved around to stores preparing the parts for the various lines on the shop floor. Added roles were cleaning my work station and keeping the working area free of clutter. The fact I worked across various teams and departments only enhances my knowledge and eagerness to learn new skills.
