I have recently completed my MSc in Psychology at Cardiff University and I am seeking opportunities within the field to gain further experience before applying for a P.H.D. I am an enthusiastic, committed worker and passionate about helping individuals reach their potential in their personal and social development. I am able to comfortably adapt to most working environments whether that is working in a team or individually and I am ready to start work immediately.
Intervention Support Worker / Cardiff Council / from 22/04/24 to present. I am currently part of an out of hours team delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people under children’s services.
Support Worker / Touchstone Support Services / from 04/12/23 to 04/03/24. I was a support worker supporting children and young people in the care system in their daily lives. I provide assistance to them and attend to their practical and emotional needs. As a support worker, I work closely with referrals to help them address their difficulties and achieve their potential.
Teaching Assistant / Axcis Education and Apollo Teaching Services / from 18/09/23 to ongoing. I work for teaching agencies as a both a teaching assistant and a learning support assistant (1:1). I have worked in many different schools with many different years including mainstream and special needs schools with pupils with a range of special educational needs and additional learning needs.
