I am 23 years. Graduate from LSBU with a 1st in Film Production. Currently working as a teacher assistant and teacher at the Brit School part time teaching Radio and Film and Media production . I'm looking for jobs in camera departments, radio production and kit houses. I am flexible and would love to get experience in other similar fields as well
Freelance Videographer & Cinematographer

● Since I was in college, I’ve been making music videos and short films. As my skills improved, I added commercial work and TV shows to my portfolio in smaller roles to see how professional sets operate. During and now after completing my degree with a first, I’ve been making short films, music videos and adverts as a cinematographer and also assistant camera and camera operator.

● I worked as bar staff at football stadiums such as Stamford bridge and Selhurst park for the agency Lyndoras. I tended bar and served food for the fans in the stadiums. I only worked a few shifts for them over the 2 years I was contracted to them, but it taught me all the skills of pouring pints and changing kegs.

● I am a teacher assistant within the strand of Film and Media Production, for the radio module. So what that entails is helping the student make radio scripts, showing them how to use the studio equipment and how to create radio shows and podcasts. Time management is also a skill that I teach in this job as timing is crucial in radio.
● 1 day a week, I teach the year 12 students and on Saturday i work in the Brit Kids program which is a saturday school for kids aged 7-16, in which I do a similar job that I do with the older students, as well as showing students and parents around the premises, helping students find their classes.

● My duties included helping customers with picking a christmas tree, bagging it up and carrying it to their car or to the till, I also operated the till and did any other odd jobs that needed doing. I’ve done this for the past two christmas’ and it’s a seasonal job that I adapt to easily.

● I was often the only staff member there or one of two staff members. So there were many different jobs I did here. I manned the till and served drinks, confectionery and jacket potatoes. I filled up bags of animal feed, took out the bins, cleaned up and helped customers with any questions or requests they had.
● During covid times I had extra responsibilities such as checking everyone had tickets at the door, filling up hand sanitizer boxes and spraying the seating area with disinfectant.
● Working there gave me skills such as manning the till, improvising when needed, being flexible and adapting to circumstance.

The BRIT school is a performing arts school in Croydon. It has a very good reputation and is known for producing a number of famous musicians, actors, dancers and more. During my time there, I became a student representative for the film and media strand in the student council and I also co-created and co-hosted a weekly football radio show on the brit radio station and spotify called half time talks.

I’ve just finished my third year of university studying Film practice at LSBU, specialising in cinematography. I got a 1st and had the joint highest mark in my class, getting 75/100 for my film and dissertation. I was a player on the football team and was a member of the student radio station.
