• Equipment and Supplies: They ensure that all necessary equipment, supplies, and aids for patient care and rehabilitation are readily available and in good working condition. This may include assisting with the setup and maintenance of mobility aids, assistive devices, and therapeutic equipment.
• Infection Control: Healthcare support workers follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. This includes proper hand hygiene, adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines, and assisting with infection control procedures such as bed and equipment cleaning.
