I am an exceptional and effective educational leader, with proven track record of improving outcomes for young people with SEND, plus I have the ability to perform in a fast-paced, pressurised environment, making me comfortable with being accountable and making effective and timely decisions.
I have a strong background within this field, starting as an FE lecturer in 2005, progressing withing leadership of student support and specialist provision. I have gained a wealth of experience in not only in pastoral and SEND support, but also as a designated safeguarding lead and governor for safeguarding. Additionally, I have a solid foundation of working with external stakeholders, fostering relationships with key professionals to ensure the safety, wellbeing and success of young people.
I have a BA (hons) in teaching, learning and assessment in professional practice and am due to embark upon a NPQH or NPQSL in April 2025.
