Nicole Lohani

First Class BA Honours Architecture graduate from Newcastle University, with a strong interest in the relationships between people and place. My work explores themes of heritage, community, human experience, and the relationship between architecture and the larger natural world. My architectural education has developed my skills in spatial thinking, visual storytelling, technical drawing, illustration, animation, and physical making.

I am keen to begin my career in a Part I Architectural Assistant role, while remaining open to opportunities across wider creative and visual disciplines.

Volunteer – Pavilion of the Commons - Common C Collective - Ouseburn

• Contributed to the physical construction of a community pavilion, including carrying out basic calculations for timber requirements and assisting with the cutting and preparation of wood.
• Designed and assembled a bug hotel, contributing to the project's ecological focus.
• Experimented with natural fabric dyeing and plant-based pigments to create decorative bunting.
• Worked collaboratively with other volunteers.

Part-Time Waitress - Zizzi - Banstead & Newcastle
