I am passionate about animal care and wildlife restoration. I love learning about our natural world and I hope to continue to expand my knowledge and skills in caring for our animals.
March 2022 – Present: Trafford Veterinary centre - Vet Care Assistant. I undertake a variety of responsibilities, these include reception duties, encompassing client support, appointment scheduling, ensuring we keep concise and accurate patient records. I am often the first point of contact to represent the business and thus always maintaining a warm, friendly and professional manner. Additionally, I assist with maintaining a clean environment, carrying out monthly deep cleans and ensuring all equipment is of good working order.
During surgical procedures, I facilitate setup and preparation of theatre and animal housing facilities, ensuring each kennel is set up and catered for the individual animal’s needs. Furthermore, I assist with nurse consults, carrying out weight checks and assisting with diagnostic tasks. My diverse role has cultivated strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and collaborative approach to achieving shared goals.
Level 4 in Animal Sciences - Reaseheath College.
3 A level's - Holy Cross College
10 GCSE's, including Maths and English - Woodhey High School.
