Film & TV Script Development

A graduate of The University of St. Andrews and The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, I have worked in the industry since 2006, combining a strong creative background with that of production experience on budgets ranging from micro-level to large studio backed features. It is because I can marry these dual aspects that I am confident that I can contribute positively in a Development / Production Executive role.
Between 2010-2014 I ran a small company whose debut feature was shortlisted for Film London’s Microwave Scheme. I am a member of BAFTA Crew and a supplementary member of The Production Guild.
I have recently moved on from MARV Films (now Studios) where I had been the Producer’s Assistant from 2015 – 2020, being involved from script stage through to release for the feature films KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE; ROCKETMAN; and THE KING’S MAN.
During my time as a Producers Assistant, among other responsibilities, I provided script coverage, analysis, and project assessment for the Producers regarding projects on, and being considered for, their slate, as well as experiencing the development process as they collaborated with development teams working for the US studios. I also gained a thorough understanding of the entire content pipeline from development to final delivery.
This complete experience is one of the main reasons I am so passionate about the importance of development – because of its direct impact on production, post and delivery.
Having trained and then worked as an actor between 2006 – 2010, primarily in the theatre, I am extremely comfortable in the creative space. Whether that’s in a rehearsal room, doing a table read, exploring, dissecting, breaking down material of all genres and backgrounds, I can approach all aspects with the appropriate level of curiosity, enquiry, diligence, and professionalism.
