I am a 16-year-old student who is looking for work experience to further improve and perfect my skills in order to be successful in future opportunities within the Games and Media Industry. As a student, I have learnt and acquired important skills such as social skills, organisational skills, proficient work ethic, and critical thinking skills. I am eager to contribute, learn quickly, and gain hands-on work experience.
Volunteer at Age UK (2025-06 – 2025-08)
Volunteering at Age UK allowed me to get a sense of what it would be like to work in retail; from working at the till to moving donations onto the shop floor as well as keeping the shop floor organised. This opportunity helped me learn plenty skills such as communication when it came to assisting customers, organisation making sure the shop floor looked presentable, IT skills when managing the till and many more capabilities that will benefit me greatly for any opportunity that is offered to me. It came along with many challenges that I faced, and I was able to handle them very well.
